Freddy Zapp with the Winner of the Guitar Auction
Apart from a raffle there was an auction for a guitar specially built, at no charge, by my friend Trevor Williamson and signed by Charlie Gracie. The auctioneer was Matt Shepherd of BBC Southwest and the winner is pictured with legendary Cornish DJ Freddy Zapp who compered the show. It was a great evening!

The Blockheads and the Spellkasters at the Guildhall, St Ives Sunday 11th May 2014

The Blockheads Onstage
The Blockheads topped the bill in the Blues Festival replacing the legendary and very brave Wilko Johnson!

Kc Johnson with Norman Watt Roy
Getting to know you! 2 great bass players… Norman Watt Roy and Kc Johnson after the show!
The Spellkasters
The Spellkasters (in the 1990s their rhythm section played for 5 years with Mick Green as “the Pirates”!) created mayhem reminiscent of the great man himself (Mick Green), Dr. Feelgood and Wilko Johnson.
Finally my own personal mention must go to the band Albany Down and their sensational drummer… Donna Peters! Now why wouldn’t Kc Johnson let me speak to her after the show?? Donna Peters of Albany Down
