Burns Bison

Burns Bison

Built by Burns Actualizer Ltd in 1981, this very rare black beast features 2 Burns humbuckers, 5 way selector switch, Fender type vibrato tailpiece and a Burns Scorpion style headstock with signature Bison logo. Retailing then at £370, this was probably one of the best Burns of the 80s. Check the Historic Guitars page for an extensive write up.

Built in Holland by Egmond, Europe’s largest guitar maker of the 1950s and early 60s (makers of Paul MacCartney’s first guitar the Egmond Solid 7), this is a budget solid bass built in about 1965 with “add on” pick up unit and an unchamfered body.
