The Guitar Collection featured in a segment of a September 2007 episode of BBC’s Antiques Roadshow – broadcast from Exmouth on a lovely sunny day!
Guitars featured include the Travelling Wilburys guitar by Gretsch, Dallas Tuxedo and more with the Watkins Rapier 33 being played at the end by Lars Mullen!
When Guy found a treasure trove of Supersound Guitars in a basement in Cheltenham, a restored example was shown and played live for the first time on the BBC’s Points West!
Supersound Guitars were built by Jim Burns (of Burns Guitars fame) with the electrics by Alan Wootton and are some of the earliest solid body electric guitars manufactured in the UK!
